"Go Local” Safety Workshop For All Helicopter Pilots

“Making Life and Death Decisions”
An Interactive Case Study of a Fatal Helicopter Accident.

A FREE WORKSHOP BEING HELD IN CITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY BY FAASTeam AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS
Join us in a deep discussion of a helicopter accident, where a good pilot attempted a good deed - but unfortunately ended in tragedy.

Schedule to be Released Soon.

Description:
Join us as we dive deep into one helicopter accident, discuss the tragedy of three lost lives, and help you see that many operational decisions are not black and white choices.

Local FAASTeam and local helicopter industry safety experts will lead an in-depth and interactive
90-minute session about a safety-conscious helicopter pilot who died while trying to fly a very noble mission.  The workshop will use an extensive NTSB accident report, photos, animation, and pilot background materials as you weigh the consequences of each operational decision.

Sponsored by the U.S. Helicopter Safety Team, this “Go Local” workshop reviews accidents that happened to good pilots (like you) who often were trying to do great deeds with their helicopters.  Participants will analyze the decision-making processes that can lead to disaster and determine what they can do to avoid falling into similar traps.

What you learn here could save your life.

Join us as we work together for a safer helicopter community.
